Shanghai will continue to expand and optimize green ecological spaces around the Huangpu River, Suzhou Creek, and the belt of ecological parks, said Mayor Gong Zheng when delivering the Shanghai Municipal Government Work Report on Jan 15.上海新茶工作室微信

It aims to promote the extension of the Huangpu River shoreline from the south to the north and to connect more than 45 gaps in the outer ring greenway in Shanghai.上海新茶资源

In addition, the city will add 120 new parks, 30,000 mu (2,000 hectares) of forests, 130 kilometers of greenways, 1,000 hectares of green spaces, and 400,000 square meters of vertical greening.
